:: Guns, Girls & the Facts of Life (2008) (PREVIEW - IN PROGRESS):
Written by Hugh Lawton and illustrated by Archie Templar. The title says it all. A trailer park crime caper with a moral tale; sometimes all you need to get through life is a large cock and a trusty shotgun. After that? Well everything else just falls right into place ... or at least that's what our surly protagonist would like to believe.

:: Hibernia 16/31 (2008) (PREVIEW - IN PROGRESS): This is a preview of the latest work in progress by Archie. Set in 1931, our story opens on the eve of the fifteenth anniversary of the Easter Victory Rising of 1916. The United Republic of Ireland is a changed country; a beacon of culture and learning and a hub of commerce and industry. But as with all idyllic societies, one need only scratch the surface to see it’s true nature …
Nathaniel Valentine, one of the architects of Ireland’s success, harbours a shared secret. The years have taken their toll on his conscience and that secret is about to find a voice.
I have always wanted to work on a "what-if" project ... what if the 1916 Rising had lasted six months, not six days? What if the Rebels had been victorious? What if the United States of America, in a strategic and self-serving move, had massively influenced the outcome? These were some of the questions I wanted to explore. To visit an Ireland that never was fifteen years later and to see what kind of society it had become. To follow in the steps of Nathaniel Valentine and uncover the ugly, dirty secret that festers in the foundation stone of the new Republic.

Launched in 2007,
“From The Pants of Archie Templar” is a high brow look at the city of Dublin and her colourful inhabitants. Currently available at the following Dublin locations: Story, Sub City, Forbidden Planet, Tower Records and now in Amsterdam in Europe’s first comic shop, the world famous
Lambiek!
:: Dublin Ho (2007): A tongue in cheek look at the origins of this new breed of Irish Woman; confident, self assured and, well, quite simply better than you.

:: Henry and Celly (2007): Two young men from very different backgrounds find solace in their love of hetero-phobia and über-violence.

:: At Home With Archie (2007): As “From the Pants…” was both a stand-alone comic and a showcase for art this double-spread attempted to incorporate that element.

:: Death Wish (2008):
Blake Edmonds was a character from the British comic Eagle. As a young man I was always fascinated by this heroic adventurer with his mangled face and a gorgeous girl by his side on his many exploits.
Increasingly I find myself looking back to the comic books of my youth and beyond with a great deal of nostalgia. The first signs of senility to be sure.

:: Scary Undertakings©:
Every Halloween a group of Archie’s chums that live in the City by the Bay undertake the massive task of converting their entire home into a
Halloween House of Horror. Every year has a different theme and Archie was fortunate enough to be asked to be the official poster artist back in 2004. Enthralling locals once every year, hundreds of the neighbourhood kids (and adults alike!) queue up for the free-entry horror extravaganza. 2007 saw the number reach the 1000 mark.

:: Young Sancho (2007): I love the look of Sancho, with his awesome ‘tach and pudding bowl haircut that only he can pull off! This is a young Sancho getting the heeby jeebies from something just off-screen.
